The After

I saw this amazing transformation on Instagram and contacted the owner. These are such great pictures, so inspirational for a Sunday night and that S’Monday feeling. The other tiles were $8.00 4×8″ Venato in the shower, along with $11.75 2″ Hexagon for the floor and $11.45 1×2″ Herringbone for the shower niche.

Credit where credit is due… In no particular order to the mountain of Carrara Italy, thank you for your wonderful marble. To #flippinwendy who designed this and will no doubt flip this 🙂 and to Stephanie from Lifecreated (I wish I knew such a talented photographer, it has been ten years with this blog and website and I am still with an iPhone which fortunately has been around for the same period of time.)

Let’s just mention the “Brass Fixtures” Stunning, really goes well with the Italian Carrara Bianco.

Bathroom Complete

Finally here we have a great picture showing the entire bathroom. Remarkable. Love the door color!

Update: Not saying the tile was the reason. It may have helped, I am sure having “Italian Marble Shower” as a house sales feature is helpful, this house (flip) sold in one day of listing.

The veining is stunning and when planned out prior sticking to the wall creates the perfect picture. A balance of white tiles mixed with veining giving an altogether less busy look.

This remodel is by Brit from blog House Updated. See the Final Reveal and more pictures on Brit’s blog. There you can see before and after pictures along with sources for all these wonderful products that have been used to transform this bathroom.

While the marble is stunning (Carrara Venato has a base whiter than Calacatta, a crisp clean white) what is more stunning is this remodel was completed by Brit in just SIX WEEKS! That is incredible! (On this occasion I think it is okay to be a little jealous and wish I had a shower like that).

Customer installation. Incredible Bathroom!

Carrara Venato Bathroom

Perfect install. Great grout pick matching the shade of veining. Less than half a decade ago everyone would have said “White Grout” today gray is a great choice.

Incredible installation work and great work by everyone packing to make sure all these tiles and trims matched together. In this install you have Carrara Venato 8×16″ (behind mirrors). The wainscoting continues with Venato 8×16″ and then they have cut the 8×16″ in half and added a chair rail molding on the top of the wainscoting. The taller baseboard the 6×12″ baseboard looks great with chair rail molding to top it off. Everything honed. On the floor the customer choose to install the Venato 8×16″ again. All this perfectly matched up before shipping to ensure they could run all these tiles into each other without variation. They also ordered some 4×12″ Honed for around the windows and across the very top of the wall if you look closely you can see the change in format.

The Carrara Venato is so white based that is perfectly matches the vanity units Calacatta countertop 🙂

Before Pictures

Before pictures showing a builder grade bathroom, would you say Circa 1990?

Carrara Venato Bathroom. Stunning!

Carrara Venato Bathroom

Carrara Venato Collection. Showing the 4×12″ Honed $8.00 a Square Foot and for $11.45 a Square Foot the 1×3″ Herringbone polished used as the floor mosaic. It was a decade ago that we agreed to sort marble blocks to create a lighter based Carrara. Then sort again to try and ensure as much as possible with a natural stone that it had just the right amount of veining. Creating a less busy appearance. It is always nice to see pictures of how good that plan came out.

I love how Instagram works. It shows the picture and then with a click it shows the sources of the products (assuming the person posting is kind enough to say where it was from). So a huge thank you to studio_o_interiors for sharing this on Instagram.

Venato Bathroom

This screenshot above from Instagram shows where the products are from. People do ask…. how white can the Venato Carrara be? I want the white base of Calacatta. I am not sure there is a whiter based marble in existence. This picture on Instagram shows the 4×12″ against Bianco Carrara ‘CD’ Grade, it shows better than what I can say.

Installation Venato 2″ Hexagon Honed by Refashionablylate Blog

Before and After Carrara Hexagon

This is our Carrara Venato 2×2″ Hexagon Mosaic $11.75 a Square Foot. (also available in polished) It is being used by Ruthie from refashionablylate in the One Room Challenge (a Challenge undertaken by bloggers) to transform a room in the house. The great part about this blog is it takes you from before and goes through each week to the “final reveal” Here.

Venato Hexagon Mosaic

We will post a few pictures (not all) of the Carrara Venato Honed Hexagon Mosaic. On the Refashonably late blog there are a lot more pictures for anyone to look at.

Venato 2" Hexagon Mosaic

Another Great Picture! And the pictures could continue and they do on the customers blog.

As for us I think this gets the point across about how perfectly white the Venato collection is. We can match 4×12″, bullnose, trims, 12×24″ to this Hexagon to create almost any design you can make from over 80 products from the Venato Collection. Along with Nero Marquina and Bardiglio Gray for accents and borders.

Carrara Venato Bathroom – White Hot!

Carrara Venato

Looking to see how white based Carrara Venato is….. then this Instagram post really shows it. Using the Venato 6×12″ Honed ($8.00/SF) and (my personal favorite) the 1×3″ Herringbone Honed ($11.45/SF).

Love the way Instagram allows people to show where they purchased the products. This Instagram post is by Studio_O_Interiors you can see the feed here.

Prices are valid at the time of this post… apparently we have to put this notation, that way in 30 years if someone finds this post and gas is $20 a gallon we are not stuck with a low price 🙂
