Incredible White Oak Silver Cream Bathroom.

Bathroom 12x24 White Oak Silver Cream

White Oak Silver Cream 12×24″ Honed they paid $6.75 a Square Foot.

Ashen Gray White Oak Silver Cream

12×24″ Silver Cream and 2″ Hexagon mosaic for the shower, they also used the 4×12″ bullnose tile, 4×12″ subway tile and the baseboard.

This is where having a 60,000 Square Foot Pick and Pack facility along with millions of square feet of stock backed up in Atlanta comes into play.

We can with this space and number of lots “Match up”. We create the look, go back and look at lot arrival dates on shipping documents. Create a look as if it was almost cut from one block. (Which is may well have been). But we certainly match up to create that look.

This cannot be done on a “Click and Ship” Website. No one at….  “” or “” can  put together. It will just ship. You will get whatever the minimum wage employee pulls off the shelf. He has not been trained in veining. Marble. How there is vein cut, flower cut, shade variation and so on. It will just be taken from the closest box. It has to most are being tracked by a system that tells them to ship so many orders a day. Not take time matching lots.

Bathrooms. Backsplashes. Working with marble and tile that is where we shine. What we have done for over two decades and we are good at it. It cannot be “Big Boxed (come from a mega-store)”. It must be “selected carefully”. Living stone. To create one of a kind bathrooms. Yes…. we are a little eccentric and OCD when it comes to this. Because we really do care.

I think our reviews show that. We are the highest ranked online stone and tile wholesaler, distributor, retailer (call us what you will – I am not sure we fit in any bucket anymore) in the USA.

Looking for a perfect marble bathroom, Carrara, Calacatta, Nero Marquina, Silver Cream, White Oak (also called Ashen Gray) – this marble has a lot of names so companies can justify the higher price points. I do not think a name allows you to charge 3x the price, that is a too high overhead issue their company has and they need your help paying for it. Not a product issue.

To save. Please email us, call or use the chat. We are here to help. Happy to send pictures before it ships. We would always rather not ship an order. Than simply ship an order and a customer be unhappy…. if that makes sense. Communication is the key. We can send pictures, you can order samples. We can work together to save you a lot of money on the product and get you the product you want!! Mind reading we cannot do, not yet…. trying 🙂

The veining is stunning and when planned out prior sticking to the wall creates the perfect picture. A balance of white tiles mixed with veining giving an altogether less busy look.

This remodel is by Brit from blog House Updated. See the Final Reveal and more pictures on Brit’s blog. There you can see before and after pictures along with sources for all these wonderful products that have been used to transform this bathroom.

While the marble is stunning (Carrara Venato has a base whiter than Calacatta, a crisp clean white) what is more stunning is this remodel was completed by Brit in just SIX WEEKS! That is incredible! (On this occasion I think it is okay to be a little jealous and wish I had a shower like that).

Calacatta Hexagon Marble Mosaic and More……

Calacatta Hexagon Mosaic TileCalacatta Hexagon Mosaic Tile available in Polished and Honed currently $16.95 a Square Foot and Free Shipping.

I will always, always be a massive fan of the iPhone warehouse picture. Capturing the moment the crate is opened or an order is put together to be checked, shrink wrapped, banded and so on. That moment is inside our warehouse. No other company offers this. They have pictures but stock photos taken weeks or years ago. The majority of online companies are just Brokers and retailers themselves in many respects are the same thing. You want to buy from the Distributor but have to go through a retailer and pay for their overheads (hardly fair as we approach 2020). The Distributor has the stock, can see the lots. Someone in their has the knowledge of stone. That is who you want.

These pictures are real. They are posted to Instagram. No broker as they do not stock product can do the same. They could be in Toronto and the product might be in San Diego. A broker cannot walk out to his warehouse and take a picture of the products he is selling. In fact he has no idea what is shipping. He cannot guarantee what you ordered is what you will get. You will get what the Distributor ships you. If he is lucky it works out. If not he will deal with the fall out (but they have that covered most do not offer an independent review program, so you cannot complain easily). How can you spot a broker?

  1. Brokers do not have Instagram pages of a warehouse, of uninstalled product. They may have stock pictures or other peoples installations. But not the product prior to install. Most do not have an Instagram page. They are in a cubicle. What are they going to show you from their cubicle? Instagram has made everything almost live…. not good for Brokers.
  2. Brokers do not keep blogs. There is little to blog about. They just want you to order. They want to place an order with the Distributor to ship it to you and for it to all go off without any issues (not likely). Big brokers have guest bloggers about all things DIY, but nothing particularly relevant to the products they sell.
  3. They do not collect reviews. They may have reviews on their website. Reviews they can control. But their will be no “Google Review” program. They cannot have people complaining online. The reviews would destroy their business. They cannot have you doing that. So they censor you.
  4. They are unlikely to be part of the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Again they cannot manage the complaints. Most have more than one website. Called a “Lifeboat” in the event they are found out with bad reviews through the BBB. They can leave one website to another and continue the “Broker Scheme”.
  5. Their location. You can use Google maps. You can even see the street view. If they are saying one thing and you see another that is a red flag. No address. No obvious location…. stay away. They are trying to avoid any contact or litigation.

Apologies for getting off tangent, but it is all important info to know, especially when we hear from people having bad experiences from other companies (Big and small).

I really just wanted to show you these great pictures of the Calacatta 2″ Hexagon, but with so many people complaining about Brokers (and we know who they are)…… I decided to try and educate people with what to look for. We have also added this on to try and really push the point and help people.

2016 has been and continues to be one of the best Calacatta Gold years ever. In terms of wines (if this was a wine) it would be a “Vintage Year”. The base is perfect and the amount of veining is just right, not busy but enough to see that it is indeed one of the most prestigious marbles in the world. It does after all adorn the walls of the Vatican.

Calacatta HerringboneIIIt has just the right amount of blanks mixed with color and an incredibly white base.

Calacatta Herringbone 4The kitchen is incredible and the time frame in which it was completed for the One Room Challenge was amazing.

Carrara Bianco 4×12″ Honed $8.00/SF (arranged in a Herringbone format – no easy task!) and Bianco 2″ Hexagon Honed $11.75/SF.

Credit where credit is due… In no particular order to the mountain of Carrara Italy, thank you for your wonderful marble. To #flippinwendy who designed this and will no doubt flip this 🙂 and to Stephanie from Lifecreated (I wish I knew such a talented photographer, it has been ten years with this blog and website and I am still with an iPhone which fortunately has been around for the same period of time.)

Let’s just mention the “Brass Fixtures” Stunning, really goes well with the Italian Carrara Bianco.

Finally here we have a great picture showing the entire bathroom. Remarkable. Love the door color!

Update: Not saying the tile was the reason. It may have helped, I am sure having “Italian Marble Shower” as a house sales feature is helpful, this house (flip) sold in one day of listing.

Customer installation. Incredible Bathroom!

Carrara Venato Bathroom

Perfect install. Great grout pick matching the shade of veining. Less than half a decade ago everyone would have said “White Grout” today gray is a great choice.

Incredible installation work and great work by everyone packing to make sure all these tiles and trims matched together. In this install you have Carrara Venato 8×16″ (behind mirrors). The wainscoting continues with Venato 8×16″ and then they have cut the 8×16″ in half and added a chair rail molding on the top of the wainscoting. The taller baseboard the 6×12″ baseboard looks great with chair rail molding to top it off. Everything honed. On the floor the customer choose to install the Venato 8×16″ again. All this perfectly matched up before shipping to ensure they could run all these tiles into each other without variation. They also ordered some 4×12″ Honed for around the windows and across the very top of the wall if you look closely you can see the change in format.

The Carrara Venato is so white based that is perfectly matches the vanity units Calacatta countertop 🙂

Before Pictures

Before pictures showing a builder grade bathroom, would you say Circa 1990?

Carrara Venato Bathroom. Stunning!

Carrara Venato Bathroom

Carrara Venato Collection. Showing the 4×12″ Honed $8.00 a Square Foot and for $11.45 a Square Foot the 1×3″ Herringbone polished used as the floor mosaic. It was a decade ago that we agreed to sort marble blocks to create a lighter based Carrara. Then sort again to try and ensure as much as possible with a natural stone that it had just the right amount of veining. Creating a less busy appearance. It is always nice to see pictures of how good that plan came out.

I love how Instagram works. It shows the picture and then with a click it shows the sources of the products (assuming the person posting is kind enough to say where it was from). So a huge thank you to studio_o_interiors for sharing this on Instagram.

Venato Bathroom

This screenshot above from Instagram shows where the products are from. People do ask…. how white can the Venato Carrara be? I want the white base of Calacatta. I am not sure there is a whiter based marble in existence. This picture on Instagram shows the 4×12″ against Bianco Carrara ‘CD’ Grade, it shows better than what I can say.
