An amazing picture of 4×8″ Carrara Venato sent in by a customer… Thank you!!

Carrara Venato 4x8 Backsplash

Amazing use of Carrara Venato 4×8″ Honed (just $8.00 a Sq.Ft. at the time of this post).

The customer took their time to go through the boxes. To make sure the veining was well spread out. Ensure that any rouge tiles they did not want in their “Picture” because it is a picture they are created were discarded. They over ordered by 20% to ensure they had more than sufficient amount to remove any of the earth tones that come with such a white based marble.

Then doing all of those things. This is the end result. Complete perfection!

This can be achieved with any product in the Venato Collection, while the tile does have a percentage of Earth Tones and the Bianco Collection does not the Venato Collection has the whiter base.

Carrara Venato 4x8 Honed

Bit further away. The picture came in a huge file 11.2MB, which was excellent. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful room and it is a Laundry room!! Amazing right…. wow. What a room to do laundry in.

Thanks go to the designer Kara of Kara Herbert Interiors and the photographer Camel Brantley. Again thank you so much for sharing hopefully it will help customers with their design and color choices. Love the pale blue cabinets.

The entire room is clean and airy. Just as planned for a Laundry room.

Probably one of the Greatest Before and Afters Ever!

Before KitchenWhen do we think this kitchen was created???? 1990? 1995? I am not really sure. But you know when this was purchased the owner was impressed. How time moves on and designs change. We want cleaner, fresher, brighter.

Today the cost of marble has come down in price (if you know where to look). Carrara Marble once just for a select few at $50-$70 a Square Foot is used in this renovation for $8.00 a Square Foot. That is the internet at work. Taking a supply chain that used to have six steps and reducing it down to just one. Just one touch point. Online company to consumer.

Of course you can still go into a Boutique Tile and Store retailer and pay $50-$70 a Square Foot. They will be happy to charge you that. Just in the same way a Gas station would like you to pay $30.00 a Gallon. But why, why would you?

Why so expensive before? Multiple touch points in the old supply chain. Everyone added 100% mark-up. There was no internet to shorten the supply chain. They could have tried. But the big companies didn’t care. Why should they have, people were buying it. There was no way to ‘look things up instantly’. The market was “Fixed”.

Until along came the internet. Now the power is handed back to consumers you can look up prices. See what is out there review blogs and posts. It is still a challenge and you need to be careful. Here are a few tips to buying natural stone online.

Carrara Venato 4x8

Look at this transformation. Incredible in every detail. Wow. I work at this company everyday and live in some sort of “positive” jealousy at least once a week because of what people do with our products. (Thank you everyone for your pictures over the years). One day I hope my own pictures will be on here. One day….. sigh…

Before PictureI am definitely going with 1995 the floor tile just has that look. What an amazing family to buy this home and then have the vision to see what it could become.

Venato 4x8 Subway Tile

It just gets better! Look at the pretty Carrara Venato backsplash.

Venato Carrara 4x8" Subway Tile

The Carrara Venato 4×8″ used is $8.00 a Square Foot and Honed it is so white it is a nightmare to take pictures of, I know. Janene is either a superstar photographer or is well a superstar photographer.

I try. It has some gray veining but it is not everywhere. In it are completely blank white tiles. That is on purpose, they are designed to be shuffled around the area to stop it looking too veiny and even whiter.

4x8" Carrara Venato Subway Tile

This is just a sample of the pictures. You have to check out their website it is one pretty cute family. And Janene blog is far better written than my attempt here. This is just simply trying to give future customers an idea of what Carrara Venato looks like and specifically the 4×8″ Subway Tile (which would follow over to any subway tile in the matching collection of mosaics, trims and tiles).

As usual I am no expert writer. Not my skill set (still trying to figure out what that is). So please let me know if there are any grammatical errors.

Carrara 4×12″ Polished Subway Tile Backsplash. So bright. So white.

Carrara Venato polished Backsplash

The product used in this backsplash is our exclusive Carrara Venato 4×12″ polished for $8.00 a Square Foot (also available in honed), and honed also makes a stunning backsplash as well. Pictured here.

But to get a better understanding of this absolutely stunning (and yes wow!) kitchen you need to take a look at Heather’s website here.

Venato Polished Backsplash

The Carrara Venato collection if correctly installed, by taking your time and ensuring the veining is well spread out with the mix of blank tiles can create a white backsplash that has no comparison. It is as white as printer paper.

Carrara Venato Backsplash

While just one product is used here the Carrara Venato Collection consists of over sixty products which we match before shipping. We can send pictures before shipping. We do not use a third party warehouse like 90% of everyone else in the industry. We stock our own inventory so we control exactly what is shipped.

That is the only way we can see to be the highest ranked Google Trusted Store in the USA with 4.9 Stars out of 5 Stars. Which can be read here.

Another Perfect Carrara Venato Shower and never tire of seeing them!

Carrara Venato Shower

Room scenes… I love them and so happy that customers are kind enough to share.

This customers pictures are exceptional (and great photography) of a Carrara Venato shower with 6×12″ Subway Tile $8.00 a Square Foot and the customer used the same tile as a backsplash.  The shower floor is the Carrara Venato 1″ Hexagon Mosaic both with a Honed finish (but all products also available in polished) and pencil trim to edge the top of the backsplash.

The Flooring: I love the way they also used the same 6×12″ but installed it in a Herringbone pattern for the floor. An incredibly consistent product.

The Carrara Venato collection of over sixty matching products, from field tiles, to trims to mosaics. The collection is designed to look whiter and brighter than traditional Carrara Bianco. It does this with having tiles that are completely blank included in the collection along with tiles with some veining. A mix of veined tiles and blank tiles ensures the overall design is whiter and brighter of course having a super white base to the product helps as well.

Carrara Venato 6x12" Shower

Perfectly white Carrara Venato bathroom and yes completely jealous of our own customers 🙂

Carrara Venato Bathroom and Shower. Looking Incredible!

Carrara Venato Subway TileAmazing bathroom by Maria and her website page shows off even more pictures of the makeover.

The bathroom and the Carrara Venato has gone together incredibly well. It is (all current prices… subject to change, blah…blah….blah… legal ramble).

The bathroom is from the Carrara Venato Collection where we can match up over sixty products creating almost any look, but the classics like this look fantastic. Subway tile 3×6″ honed $7.00 a Sq.Ft. on shower the floor, feature wall and niches is 1×3″ Herringbone Honed Mosaic $11.45 Sq.Ft. then Pencil trim to picture frame in the Herringbone and then our 4×12″ honed $8.00 a Sq.Ft. in a Herringbone on the bathroom floor. Keeping the trend of Herringbone flowing throughout. I see similar bathrooms designs from other customers. Except they may choose a Hexagon, making the 2″ Hexagon in the shower floor and niche and then a 5″ Hexagon on the bathroom floor. Then again with basketweave, but by far it is Hexagon and Herringbone are the most popular. Irrespective of the choice, we have the ability to open boxes and make the match prior to shipping.

The fixtures look amazing too. The entire bathroom is amazing. The sources are revealed on Maria’s blog.

The guys working at the warehouse did a great job selecting matching lots.

But have you also seen Maria’s Instagram page. I am so impressed. I admire anyone who is a success (they are not a drain on society, they are a asset to society) and this work, the quality of pictures is exceptional, well worth looking at even from that perspective of an incredibly well managed social media account. Everything is managed and branded seamlessly. Love it and love to see others doing well.

Carrara Venato & Bianco 1×3″ Herringbone (and answer to fireplace question).

1x3 Herringbone Fireplace

We are often asked is this marble suitable for the outside of a fireplace? The answer is yes and it is used often we receive a lot of incredible fireplace looks. This one for example is in the Carrara Venato 1×3″ Herringbone Honed $11.45 a Square Foot (but also available in polished).

Bianco Fireplace

This fireplace was a great lot of 1×2″ Herringbone Honed. Currently $11.75 a Square Foot and Free Shipping also available in Polished and 1×3″ Herringbone as used in the previous picture. There are a lot of Herringbone choices on the Herringbone page. Bianco generally not as white as the Venato Collection. This lot was an exception. With natural stone there are occasions when the two collections look very similar.

Bianco Herringbone OptionsHere are a few of the Herringbone options. On the actual Herringbone page there are many more. More info.

The veining is stunning and when planned out prior sticking to the wall creates the perfect picture. A balance of white tiles mixed with veining giving an altogether less busy look.

Venato Bathroom6

This remodel is by Brit from blog House Updated. See the Final Reveal and more pictures on Brit’s blog. There you can see before and after pictures along with sources for all these wonderful products that have been used to transform this bathroom.

While the marble is stunning (Carrara Venato has a base whiter than Calacatta, a crisp clean white) what is more stunning is this remodel was completed by Brit in just SIX WEEKS! That is incredible! (On this occasion I think it is okay to be a little jealous and wish I had a shower like that).

Cement Tiles…. Looking good.

Handmade Encaustic Cement Tiles

Warehouse pictures of the product as it arrives on the pallets. Not professionally taken with an iPhone 🙂

There is no doubt about it Cement Tiles while not for everyone are pretty cool looking. When you see one tile it looks okay, but it takes putting four of the 8×8″ tiles together to create the pattern.

Pricing is sneaky. Anything that is new seems to encourage people to gouge customers. Many selling the 8×8″ by the piece for $8-$9. As it takes 2.25 Square Feet to make a square foot with 8×8″ tiles this makes their price $18 to $20 a Square Foot. Our price $11.45 a Square Foot and Free Shipping (we prefer to launch it at the best possible price, not have to go through the year with specials and promotions, just put the best price online from the beginning).

Cement Tile Tulips

It is an incredibly durable product. Here is our Tulips Design outside a retail store and in the interior. Exposed to the Elements. Great for inside the home  as well as commercial applications.

Carrara Pietra 4×12″ Subway Floor and Wall Tile

Pietra 4x12 Marble Subway Tile

Currently $8.00 a Square Foot and Free Shipping. Arrival of a new product to the Pietra Collection. This 4×12″ Subway Tile honed Subway tile is more “Lively” than its cousin Carrara Venato 4×12″ honed and that is the difference. Carrara Venato 4×12″ as you can see from this installed backsplash or shower installation Carrara Venato base is a uniform color  whereas the Pietra 4×12″ has more veining and variation in the base of the tile as well. It more dramatic in it’s appearance. Again more “Lively”.

Pietra Stone came to existence as customers wanted more variation. Some did not want the super white look of Venato and wanted more contrast. This collection has allowed us to achieve that. We have selected specific blocks that show more character.

(Min order 85/SF but can be mixed for example 50/SF of 4×12″ and 35/SF of something else a mosaic. Our goal is to get this to ship safely and to do that we need it to ship on a pallet and then have sufficient weight it cannot move on the pallet).
