Carrara Venato 3×6″ Subway Tile $7.00 a Square Foot (at the time this was installed prices subject to change) along with Carrara Venato 1″ Hexagon Mosaic $10.95 a Square Foot (a classic design).
This bathroom pictures are from WildInk Press blog. Rebekah and Matt not only design and print greeting cards but are also clearly incredible designers. You can see their website here.
The Carrara Venato 1″ Hexagon looks perfect. Bright white as we had always planned. Here is a before picture of their shower.
Before pictures showing a builder grade bathroom, would you say Circa 1990?
Carrara Venato Collection. Showing the 4×12″ Honed $8.00 a Square Foot and for $11.45 a Square Foot the 1×3″ Herringbone polished used as the floor mosaic. It was a decade ago that we agreed to sort marble blocks to create a lighter based Carrara. Then sort again to try and ensure as much as possible with a natural stone that it had just the right amount of veining. Creating a less busy appearance. It is always nice to see pictures of how good that plan came out.
I love how Instagram works. It shows the picture and then with a click it shows the sources of the products (assuming the person posting is kind enough to say where it was from). So a huge thank you to studio_o_interiors for sharing this on Instagram.
This screenshot above from Instagram shows where the products are from. People do ask…. how white can the Venato Carrara be? I want the white base of Calacatta. I am not sure there is a whiter based marble in existence. This picture on Instagram shows the 4×12″ against Bianco Carrara ‘CD’ Grade, it shows better than what I can say.
This is our Carrara Venato 2×2″ Hexagon Mosaic $11.75 a Square Foot. (also available in polished) It is being used by Ruthie from refashionablylate in the One Room Challenge (a Challenge undertaken by bloggers) to transform a room in the house. The great part about this blog is it takes you from before and goes through each week to the “final reveal” Here.
We will post a few pictures (not all) of the Carrara Venato Honed Hexagon Mosaic. On the Refashonably late blog there are a lot more pictures for anyone to look at.
Another Great Picture! And the pictures could continue and they do on the customers blog.
As for us I think this gets the point across about how perfectly white the Venato collection is. We can match 4×12″, bullnose, trims, 12×24″ to this Hexagon to create almost any design you can make from over 80 products from the Venato Collection. Along with Nero Marquina and Bardiglio Gray for accents and borders.
From the Pietra Carrara Collection this 1″ Hexagon $8.95 a Square Foot Honed & Free Shipping (for 2017). Limited collection purchased in huge volume to get the price point where customers want it.
This product has really grown on me over the past 12 months. It was designed to have more variation in the Hexagons than that of the Bianco and Venato collections. Essentially creating shades of Gray. The price point is incredible for 2017 it is $8.95 a Square Foot and Free Shipping. The look is incredible when on the floor. Adds value to the home and does not break the budget.
The Hexagon is part of a larger collection of tiles and mosaics. All Honed and Free Shipping. More info here.
Looking for more product images as they ‘literally’ come of the boat and the container is opened. Then try our Instagram feed.
This exceptional Carrara Bianco 3″ Hexagon Polished for $11.75 was a lot shipping out. Customer approved not just $11.75 a sheet comes with Free Shipping! (Prices valid for 2017).
There is no better price or quality. You cannot buy Bianco this white from any retailer in the USA I have ever been too. It is exceptional. It is the “Power” of paying Italy with a huge amount of cash for a large amount of marble at once, economies of scale. Supercharged with cash payments, so the Italian quarry has zero risk. But what they do want is us coming back. To encourage that they provide us with the very best Italian Marble.
For always up-to-date images. See our Instagram Page and if a company does not have an Instagram page this most likely means two things:
They do not stock the product. They do not stock the product so you have no idea of the quality of product that is shipping to you and neither do they. All they are is a “Broker”. Bad news! You need to know the people shipping your order have access to the product.
They do not care. Simply they know the product does not look great and they have no desire to take pictures of it and post on Instagram. If they were proud of what they were selling, like us. The feed would be continually updated.
Finally Instagram shows pictures of a companies product from the consumers perspective. Installed product, or samples received. This is a great took to understanding the legitimacy of a online supplier.
Today Instagram is more than just a way for companies to post pictures. It provides a checklist for a couple of vital criteria.
$8.95 a Square Foot Free Shipping Carrara Hexagon Honed.
This is 10mm or 3/8″ (the recommended thickness by the Marble Institute of America for natural Stone) and 42 pieces to a sheet giving you a complete square foot. You will notice competitors, will a) Make it thinner or b) Make it smaller or c) Both. It is terrible and no one needs to confuse the consumer to make a sale. (companies big box and small know consumers will assume a full square foot, so just make it as such and not change the size to lure people in with the price). What they cannot do it complete Apples to Apples.
“People often ask how is it possible to sell this for $8.95 a Square Foot?” They would comment. “I just walked out of a retailer and it was closer to $45 a Square Foot”. Actually it became so common of a question in 2015 we had to create a video to explain it. A classroom white board video. In essence it was fairly simple. We are not cheap the current system is simply inefficient and old. It has been the same for over 60 years. We just revamped it.
Carrara Venato 4×12″ Honed ($8.00 a Square Foot in 2016 & 2017).
And loved the Christmas version here.
Love how the wood grain makes the brilliant white background of the Carrara Venato stand out even more.
Finally I loved Brit’s blog and the reveal here
Looking forwards to helping Brit in the One Room Challenge in 2017.

Looking to see how white based Carrara Venato is….. then this Instagram post really shows it. Using the Venato 6×12″ Honed ($8.00/SF) and (my personal favorite) the 1×3″ Herringbone Honed ($11.45/SF).
Love the way Instagram allows people to show where they purchased the products. This Instagram post is by Studio_O_Interiors you can see the feed here.
Prices are valid at the time of this post… apparently we have to put this notation, that way in 30 years if someone finds this post and gas is $20 a gallon we are not stuck with a low price 🙂
Used in this picture Carrara Venato 1×3″ Herringbone Polished $11.45 a Sq. Ft. for the flooring (grout creates enough COF/Grip to make it safe and polished can be used). Along with 4×12″ Carrara Venato on the wall for $8.00 a Square Foot. $15,000 from a traditional tile and stone retailer, about $4,000 from us. A great save! Who wants to pay more. Not sure any one ever walked into Target or a Publix or any Grocery store and wrote out a check for $11,000 saying “You did not charge me enough” so why pay more for the same product from the same mountain?
Taken from Instagram here. I love the way people can tell others where the products used came from. It is great when designers take the plunge and buy online from us. Carrara Venato especially the 1×3″ Herringbone they have purchased with 4×12″ on the wall is one of my favorite looks. Love the look of the longer subway tile.
You can see how perfect and white the Carrara Venato is, in fact if you go back through the room scenes or click the Carrara Venato link you can see this product which is exclusive and a Trademark owned by The Builder Depot, sold for over a decade has been consistent in appearance since the beginning. It is this consistency that we look for in this collection. It is not by accident we hand select the blocks to create this exceptional look.
Prices are subject to change. Valid at the time of this post.
